Some activities you can do anytime. Hanging out at Starbucks, going to the mall or watching a movie you can do anytime. But there is something fun that you can only do in the month of October. I’ll give you a hint, it’s like trick-or-treating only it happens before. That’s right, it’s going to a pumpkin patch and finding the perfect pumpkin.
Best Pumpkin Patch in Battle Ground!
Last weekend I got to visit a pumpkin patch at the Pomeroy House called Pumpkin Lane with my wife and her sisters. And I had a great time (really) because the Pomeroy House doesn’t just have pumpkins and hot cider but you can also learn about the 100 year history of the farm.
So if you’re trying to find something fun to do this weekend I highly recommend checking out the best pumpkin patch in Battle Ground (at least that I’ve ever been to). And tell them you heard about it on the Buzz (I met one of the owners, Bob Brink, last week and told him I’d be writing this article so I don’t want him to think I lied).
Oh and one last thing, it was raining last weekend too and we still had a blast. And seriously, you live in the NW, rain isn’t going to kill you. So log out of Facebook and do something old fashioned for a change like go outside.
Here’s the info about the pumpkin patch followed by some photos of my adventure:
